Join the celebration of Illinois Watersheds through Education, Recreation, and Conservation at the 10th annual Mississippi Earthtones Festival on Broadway in Alton on September 17th from 12-10pm. The event is held annually on the 3rd Saturday in September, as part of the State of Illinois “It’s Our River Day” initiative to celebrate Illinois watersheds through education, recreation and conservation. This free, sustainable festival offers Live Music, Food and Beverages, Children’s Activities, Arts and Crafts, an Eco-Village, and more. You can get involved with a youth/adult river clean up or partake in yoga, hula hooping, and other activities! Beer tent will be open the entire festival, as well as many great local eateries on hand with fresh choices for the family!
